BRYAN LAKE will provide an overview of the legislative process and discuss the unique challenges involved in passing probate and trust legislation.

- Understand the factors that make bills move or stall at the Legislature
- Understand the unique aspects of lobbying probate and trust legislation
LAUREN BARRON and JASON SCHULLER will provide an overview of the Probate & Trust Legislative Committee and discuss the bills proposed for the current legislative session, as well as the topics for future legislative proposals.

- Understand how practitioners are involved in proposing potential legislative changes, and
- Understand how one can be involved in developing legislation
